Lyle Benson

Lyle Benson Has black belts in Karate, Jujutsu, and is a fourth degree black belt in Genbukan Ninpo (Japanese Ninjutsu). He is a proud personal student of Grandmaster Shoto Tanemura and has appeared with his teacher in the Discovery channel in documentaries about traditional Ninjutsu. He teaches traditional Japanese weapons, including swordsmanship. As a former police officer, private investigator, and bar bouncer, Sensei Benson has a wealth of experience in real world application of traditional martial arts to violent situations. A thoughtful and fun teacher he is able to bridge the gap between eastern traditional training and modern western teaching methods to create fun and exciting classes while building great martial arts skills with his students.
